ABOUT US

50 Star Search and Rescue formed during Hurricane Florence in Laurinburg, North Carolina. A group of volunteers and organizations came together to achieve a common goal. To help people in need. After completing hundreds of rescues, transporting thousands to shelters, and delivering 2 tons worth of supplies, we chose to stick together and start a new organization.

50 Star Search and Rescue is a non-profit organization based in Houston, Texas. The board of directors works with other organizations to develop and maintain a highly efficient search and rescue team during natural disaster events. As you may know, the resources and assets of local municipalities become extremely strained during these large scale events. We are here to provide some relief by assisting in water rescue, recovery, animal rescue, high water transportation, incident command and coordinating, logistical support, and manpower.

Our one and only goal is the preservation of life. The many different volunteer groups and organizations we work with will fly their flag next to ours. Not under it. We come together, we work together, we accomplish the mission. Every. Single. Time. Contact us to be placed on our Assets and Resources List.
